First Pixar now Disney?

I always thought it was weird when Disney decided they were going to give up on hand drawn animation and rely on CG films...i thought that's what pixar was for? But i find it even stranger when they decide to make a film that is made on a computer to look like a drawing!

i'm speaking of Disney's animated film Rapunzel.

It seems quite a while to me since Disney have tackled an old-school fairytale such as this and it would be interesting to see the outcome.

However, this isn't the only new fairytale-esque film currently in the line up for Disney and over at Comingsoon.net they've apparently announced the line up to 2012!!
so here it is:

We have another CG film by the name of Bolt:

Followed by Tinkerbell...which i refuse to put pics up of :D

the next in line is as i said another fairytale by the name of The Princess and the Frog:

and lastly...and possibly the most interesting is:

Apparently based on the short fantasy story by Philip K. Dick which is what intrigues me most...for those not familiar with his name you may be familiar, possibly without realizing, with films based on his books such as A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report and Blade Runner. But like every line up of films this could easily change and come 2012 i expect films due to be released will be substantially different...with a few extra inclusions.
