Tom and Jerry

According to Variety's website Warner Bros. are planning on turning the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon into a CG/Live action film similar to that of Alvin and the Chipmunks!
I have my reservations despite enjoying Alvin and the Chipmunks a lot more than i thought i would.

I'm not sure how much you can do with Tom and Jerry considering they don't talk and filled a cartoon by chasing one another.
